Partner

Well I finially made partner. I have worked two years for pennies, well not pennies but for table scraps and a bone once in awhile. Now a little respect! I intend to post more often. I have to admit that I've been a little depressed, working long tedious hours, but now I'm supposed to get more responsabilities, more pay ( or some pay) shorter hours, a new pillow to nap on, fresh water, its endless what this promotion has done for me. I'm so giddy that I need to go take a nap. Check us out on our web www.margiesplace.com.

Summer Grind is over

Finally the summer is over and I can take a break. The only break I had was going down south to Salida to watch my cousin Susan race her kayak. Unfortunately she hurt her shoulder and could not compete. Since we were there and Susan being a world class kayak teacher, she gave me a quick lesson, lent me her racing craft and the rest is history. Next summer there is going to be a Kayak course in Clear Creek about 5 miles west of Idaho Springs. Maybe if George & Margie give me some time off I can compete some. Anyway I will post more often now.

Springtime in the Rockies

Pictured is my brother 'Buddie'. Adopted of course, you can probably guess that we are not out of the same litter. He's a lot bigger. 105 lbs to be exact and not quite as cute as I am. As you can also see in the pictures is that we had a bit of snow this week. Slowed business down but we need the moisture here in the mountains. I will have my partners George & Margie take some pictures of our springtime when it happens. Lots of flowers unique to the evelation and climate here in the Idaho Springs. Check out our web site. http://www.margiesplace.com/ or E-mail margiesplaceCO@aol.com us if you have any questions or suggestions on my blog. Remember that I am a dog & do not understand all the ins & outs of dog bloggery. Until next time.

Another Blog

Its been awhile but work for me has been very strenerous. Greeting a never ending line of customers sounds easy but most canines would crack under the work load I have. In fact last week, late in the day I snapped at a little girl. Scared her and my co-workers ( George & Margie). I'm trying to be more patient. I am also being asked to pose in more Old Time Photos. This is usually quite fun but I have to dress up in my costume as you can see in the photos I'm putting up. The photo I did with the older gentleman was a honor to do. He grew up in Chihuahua, Mexico and at that time Pancho Villa ( my namesake) was killing all unregistered teenage boys and Adam ( his gringo name) had to hide in the hills to avoid being captured and killed. Later in life Adam was a sheriff in Chihuahua. The other photo I'm putting up is just a fun photo. Being cute is okay but it would be nice to stay home one day and lay back with my brother Buddy. I'll put up his picture next week. Until then check out our web site. http://www.coloradomountaingifts.com/

Pancho's Third Blog

Spent a deserving week of rest and play in Tucson, AZ . This picture is me and my cousin "lil" Pete. I had George & Margie drive me and "lil" Pete down to Tucson. This picture was taken in the Navajo Indian reservation when Pete and I had to take a little break. OH! 'lil" Petes significant other Kary rode along. A bit crowded but she brought some very tasty chewies so she will be invited again. I'm back to work now in Colorado. I promise to have some of my t-shirts for dogs on line this week. Check out our web site.http://www.coloradomountaingifts.com/ I intend to put up another blog later this week with me modeling one of my shirts. Check back often. arf (goodbye)

Panchos Second Blog

First off I was informed that this is a blog, not a blob. My apologies. While I'm at it I apologize for the spelling and gramatical errors. Remember that I am a three year old dog. Also one of our (your) great presidents stated that it is indeed a stupid man that can only spell a word one way. On to more inportmant matters. I have had a favorable response to my first blog and have some great ideas on how to make some money so my masters ( god I hate that word "master"). I will refer to them from now on as my partners. Anyway I guess I can continue to lay my blanket at George & Margies place. My new project; I guess its my first project is to start a line of dog products. We are starting with a line of T-shirts and neck scarfs. I hope to have some samples on our web store within a week. http://www.coloradomountaingifts.com/ This depends on how quick and adapt my partners are. I can do the graphics but manipulating the mouse is difficult without fingers. You would think someone by now would have designed something an animal could use more easily. As you can see in this weeks picture I indeed did this blog. Typing all myself. Pictures cannot lie. Well until next week. Arf (goodbye)

Pancho's First Blob

This might be a little rough and not real easy to grasp at first. I have just recently learned to speak english. My first language of course is dog. Maybe I should explain that I am a dog. Specifically a Rat Terrier. I am 3 years old ( in human years). I live with my parents (human) George & Margie outside Idaho Springs, Colorado. We live about 3 miles from town. We have a retail store in Idaho Springs which sells tourist stuff and in the back of the store is an Old Time Photo studio. We don't sell much dog stuff in the store, a few T-shirts, bandannas, maybe a dog bowl. Anyway the reason I started this blog is since the economy is slowing down my parents said that I have to start contributing a little or I may have to hit the road. I seem to be eating too much or having too many bones. If I can draw some intrest with this blog I might be able to stay a while. Its not like I don't do anything now. I go to the store every morning. My job is to greet customers when they come in and be petted. Sounds easy but after being petted by strangers over and over even this gets a little old. So please go to our web store http://www.coloradomountaingifts.com/ or come to our store in Idaho Springs. 1534 Miner Street. Just tell whom ever is at the cash register that Pancho sent you. A picture of me at work.
